I ordered from halberd for the first time recently and i couldn't be happier. The desk I ordered is of the best quality I've seen in a while and it was simple to put together. While waiting for my order there were a few things that delayed delivery but none of which was because of halberd themselves. I was curious of delivery times and i sent an email to the customer support and the Managing Director Matthew replied that day! Matthew was very helpful, he made sure i was kept up to date on my order as well as personally taking charge of its care so I would be assured I was not forgotten about. Overall I'm extremely happy with Halberds desks as well as them as a company and would recommend anyone looking for a new desk, built strong and with care, choose these guys.

My review is on the valchromat desk in a scout template made to a custom size of 120x70cm with strike leg frame. It's gorgeous with it's round corners, alluring curves and slopes. The valchromat material in a light grey with a shoft scene finish provides a contemporary, subtle adult look that sits well in a living room. The cable cutouts, cable tray and channels in the desk leg has "neatend" my cable game. It's a solid desk weighing in about 30kg with the legs. There is no wobble at all no matter how hard I type. The 120x70cm size and leg height is very generous and comfortable for my 6ft build. No knees banging the underside or cable tray. Plenty of elbow space with my monitor a comfortable distance away. To assemble you will need to use the mallet and block of wood that is provided to ensure the leg assembly is firmly pushed together. Great touch to include all the needed tools. I discovered valchromat by accident when I called Halberd to ask about stock availability. I got talking to the owner who suggested I try the valchromat as it is like a solid material coloured all the way through. He provided lots of advice, sought my opinion and best of all could accomodate a custom size all within a few weeks. Great service - I could feel the genuine desire to provide an excellent product and experience.

Ive had my Halberd desk for almost a year now and I cannot fault it as a product. It looks fantastic and its incredibly sturdy. Its clearly been designed to keep the desktop itself as free from clutter as possible, with plenty of handy ways to keep wires as hidden as possible. I treated myself to the RGB panels too, and they really finish off the look! Construction was fairly straightforward, though you need to be confident that theres no need to hold back where hammering is required! I cant fault the customer service at all, theyre incredibly friendly and communicative.

First of all my desk is amazing. It's very sturdy, has tons of space and there are plenty of options for routing cables without them getting in the way. Switching between different heights is quick and pretty quiet. I spent a lot of time planning my setup and this desk rewards you for it. My PCs are mounted underneath the desk with Metalicon C3 + C9 holders, the Valve Lighthouses are also mounted underneath and I have absolutely no cables on the floor anymore. It's a joy to use, I would definitely buy again. On top of that, the customer service is outstanding. While it can take a little while to get a response, it's always worth it. I got very helpful instructions for setting up the desk and when my desk wings were delivered with some scratches on them, Matthew offered to replace them for no additional charge. When I made some very clumsy mistakes when setting up the desk which resulted in slight damage, he even offered more replacements. Ultimately I didn't take that offer because my self-induced scratches don't really bother me. However, I'm highlighting this because it shows how invested Halberd is in ensuring that you are satisfied with your purchase. I honestly can't remember when I last had such excellent customer service. If you are looking for a new sturdy gaming/office desk and you value customer service, look no further.

Wanted to upgrade my regular desk that I had bought around a year ago to a sit/stand to help with back pain. Matthew was super helpful in getting everything sorted for me. As I already had a desk topper he was able to just send me a new sit/stand frame, which was much better for me than having to get an entirely new desk. Build quality has always been fantastic across both my old desk and the new. Great desks.

For starts i would just like to point out the quality and sturdiness of these desks, they are worth every penny you pay for them if not more! I had a pleasant experience from start to finish with these guys, im super happy with the desk and honestly couldnt ask for anything better. Was kept informed from start to finish by the team and are such a pleasure to deal with! Quick and efficient delivery from york to south wales. If i could give more starts i would these are fantastic!

This is the best, highest quality desk I have ever seen and glad I purchased!!! The price is more than worth this desk and the customer service and support is Best-in Class!! If you are on the fence or hesitating about purchasing this desk due to a few 'pounds/pence' then stop it and buy it! You will not regret it!

I ordered a c shaped desk. Had a few questions so I contacted the team who were very responsive and helpful. The desk is massive and looks and feels premium. Delivery was rapid and I am very pleased.

I've used Haldberd Desks for multiple years now. I've just recently Ordered the 3rd Desk for my Son. I couldn't be more happier with the product. I personally own the Stance 3 Leg version with the Chimera Top and it allows me to have HUGE amount of space to place things from Double Monitor & Microphone clamps from a Sitting to Standing position. Very easy to put together now with their 3 part system and everything was pre-drilled and fitted. The packaging on delivery is Award Winning, all sides of the desk are covered in protection foam. If you're constructing a 3 part system I'd advise having two people lift it as the wood used is heavyish because of the quality. Highly recommended, will be using again in the future!

What a Desk, what a company and what a guy. Matt supported all of my questions and requirements (there were a lot) and delivered what can only be described as the perfect desk. standing at 6'4" no desk I ever use is comfortable. So the sit/stand L shaped Desk from Halberd is perfect. The quality of both the legs and the table top its self far exceeded my expectations and has been a dream to work on for the past few months. if only my productivity was up the standard of this desk. On a side note the packaging that this was sent it was outstanding, I'm pretty sure it could have been dropped from space and wouldn't have a mark on it. Would highly recommend the investment to anyone.

Great product (150cm Stance), service and communication. Packaged in a manner to prevent any damage during transit Set up was ok without too much head scratching, Halberd have indicated that they may put up some YouTube how to guides for extra clarity which will be a great addition and another way for the prospective customer to have a look at their product.

The product is excellent and rock solid despite the weight of a heavy PC and several large monitors. The fit and finish is flawless and the cable management holes are well thought out to enable a very clean setup. There was a slight delay in delivery due to COVID but the before and aftersales communication has been faultless. Would highly recommend to anyone interested in a high end PC desk.

After finally having enough of my wobbly desk, a quick google and I came across Halberd (and they're in the same city as me, how awesome was that!?). A quick look through the photos and I saw the perfect desk. I really like the I and C style legs, just so much more leg room. Matthew was so helpful, I asked for a custom colour and he really came through and now I am sat behind a sturdy, colourful desk that brightens up my office space. The desktop is absolute quality & it was super easy to put together - and made it even easier to organise my cables! Very happy customer, can't tell you how much more of a happy space it's made my office! Thanks Halberd!
